Frosted Lemonade, our new summer favorite

Delectable Frosted Lemonade

Second favorite for the summer time is Frosted Lemonade.  This year Chick-Fil-A invented the most delicious treat EVER! I am a huge lemonade fan!  Often I mix it with other fresh fruits and enjoy. To my delight, people who invite me to parties often expect me to bring a lemonade concoction. Well, Chick-Fil-A invented the best combination for lemonade: ice cream and lemonade. We spent a great deal of money on them this year, and my kids even chose them for their rewards.

Well, for Little Me’s birthday she asked for frosted lemonade as the treat. Of course I had to make it myself because that is half the fun. I actually learned about frosted lemonade from Pinterst – of course! Here is the recipe I used:

My personal recipe for Lemonade comes from ReaLemon brand 100% juice.  The recipe on the back of the bottle is:

6 1/2 Cups water

1 Cup juice

1 cup sugar

makes 2 quarts suggests using a really thick ice cream, which I did. She said to use 1 Cup lemonade per 2 Cups ice cream. Combine the lemonade and ice cream in the blender and relish in the refreshment. The girls at the party LOVED the treat. Since I put the drink in plastic fancy cups, they all put their pinky finger in the air and enjoyed!

Frosted Lemonade is a real delight, and a refreshing way to cool off.

About Kellie & Alicia

I am Kellie. I am a mom of 4 daughters, a creative dance teacher and a pinner. I love to create my Pins and figure out how to make things work. This blog is all about testing out Pins and sharing what I learned in the processes. I am excited about this adventure and I hope you enjoy seeing the interesting stuff that is created. In my spare time I love water skiing, hiking, camping (“glamping” is better), traveling and taking my kids on new adventures. I also love serving in my community and do so with my church, the PTA, and with an organization called Utah Kids Foundation. I love finding new ways to do things and trying them out.
